HOW DID A MAN BECOME A SNAKE ?

I am starting this chapter with reference to my father. My parents had international thinking and immense love for religion and country. My father spent most part of his life in Saudi Arabia and performed many pilgrimages (Hajj). That is why he is known as Al-Haj Muhammad Hanif Mughal. My father, when he was alive, taught me to build my intellect for which I am very grateful to him and I am thankful to God Almighty on blessing me with such mother and father who not only thought of my future but also of the future generations and endeavoured hard to educate me and build my character.
My father visited me many times in Japan. I received maximum support from my father for my international marriage and he would tender nice advice to me. He used to say that we should never forget our origin. I should be proud of being a Pakistani till the end and should always walk erect with pride as a Muslim and make my future generations to follow suit. I should always keep the name plate of Made in Pakistan and Born in Islam attached to my heart and keep on increasing the love for the country and nation. That is how I would learn to love other nations and countries. So the first love I have in my heart is for my nation, country and Islam. Then after that rather a similar love and affection I have for Japan. I consider Japan as my country and my endeavour is that it becomes Pakistan and Pakistan becomes Japan. By exchanging the good points of both the countries and wiping out the bad points we should shake hands as the right and left hands meet in handshake. Every one preaches for doing good but who can eliminate the bad things. No one teaches in depth. There is need for imparting this education and training in Schools, Colleges and Universities.
The vices bite us like snakes and no body tells the correct cure for those who are bitten by these snakes nor one tries to invent a drug for the same. The problem is that we have started breeding the snakes of vice in our sleeves and are nourishing them. The result is that they will keep on multiplying. In other words you may treat the snakes? off-springs kindly and nourish them with cups of milk but their nature is to bite and therefore they can never be our friends. All these vices, social vices, political vices, different types of vices are multiplying like the young ones of snakes being nourished day by day. Unless we eliminate them the peace and tranquillity can not return to the society and the country. An Urdu poet wrote:
Do not give the example of snake for a man
There are some harmless snakes as well
The present day man is more poisonous than snakes and one bitten by him does not ask for water. Among the snakes they say there are very few poisonous snakes that bite. They live in jungles that is why one should not be afraid of them. One should be scared of the snakes that live in cities who can reduce many innocent human beings to nothing by their hissing hoods in the shape of bomb blasts.
The snakes live in forest, human beings in city
If we save ourselves from snakes then human beings are there to bite us
I do not know which poet wrote these verses but what ever he has written is true. So first of all we should investigate how did a man acquire the trait of a snake. How do the young ones of snakes are bred among human beings and how to kill this poisonous snake present within the human being. Are these snakes a product of present times or they existed in previous ages? If we study the history carefully we find that they existed at all times. There was not a single period in history when these venomous snakes did not exist. Therefore to investigate the reason how this poisonous trait entered human nature I thought of talking to the first human being on this earth instead of asking some saints or prophets.
I rang up Hazrat Adam (AS) from Japan and asked him if he could spare some time and fix an appointment with me so that I could visit him. Adam(AS) replied, I am waiting for a long time that some one from human race contacts me and tries to find out my circumstances. Some time back a Pakistani Qawwal (Singer of Devotional Songs) met me but he could not thoroughly understand my point of view. He was always complaining to God Almighty but never presented my spirit and feelings to the human beings through his Qawwalis. Tell me how is that Qawwal? I said, Babaji that Qawwal was consider very dear by the people that is why perhaps his name was Aziz Mian. May be he had a different name in reality. But he died very recently. What I want to discuss with you is not some thing related to writing poetry but I want to talk with you in depth about a very important subject. And five or ten minutes meeting will be too little for this purpose. Baba Adam said, OK you may come when ever you like. My doors are always open for you. I jotted down some points in my notebook and prepared to ask some questions from him in order to find out the reality about human being.
